Dazr Sign terms of use
Last updated 5 October 2026 · For Dazr Sign at sign.dazr.eu and the Dazr Sign API.
If a translation of this page differs from the English version, the English version applies.
Who you agree with
These terms are an agreement between you and Dazr, Viale Cesare Poggi 1, 15061 Arquata Scrivia (AL), Italy, VAT IT 02801250065 (“Dazr”, “we”). By using Dazr Sign you accept them. If you use Dazr Sign for an organisation, you accept them for that organisation and confirm that you may do so.
What Dazr Sign does
Dazr Sign lets you send PDFs for signature. Each signer confirms their email address by signing in with Dazr Identity, and signs with an advanced electronic signature under the EU eIDAS Regulation (Regulation (EU) No 910/2014). When everyone has signed, Dazr seals the PDF with its own digital signature and adds an audit trail, so any later change shows.
Qualified electronic signatures
A sender can require a qualified electronic signature from a signer. The signer makes it with their own qualified certificate from a qualified trust service provider of their choice. Dazr does not issue qualified signatures or certificates and is not a qualified trust service provider. Dazr checks each uploaded signature against the EU trusted lists when it is uploaded and refuses signatures that do not pass. A qualified electronic signature has the same legal effect as a handwritten signature in every EU country.
Your responsibilities as a sender
- Send only documents you have the right to share, to people you may contact.
- Enter the right name and email address for each recipient.
- Check whether the law or the other party requires a particular form of signature for your document. Some documents need a qualified signature, a notary or a handwritten signature. Dazr Sign does not give legal advice.
- Keep your own copy of completed documents you need. We keep them until you delete them, but Dazr Sign is not an archiving service.
Signing
Sign only as yourself, and for an organisation only if you may act for it. Do not use someone else’s account or signing link.
Storage
Documents you send, their versions and the signed copies count towards the storage of your Dazr Identity account, which you see in Dazr Files.
The Dazr Sign API
Organisations that use the Dazr Sign API accept the Dazr Identity Developer Terms. An app acts only for people who allowed it on the consent screen, and only on the documents it created.
Fair use
Do not use our services to break the law, to send spam or malware, to infringe other people’s rights or to mislead people. Do not try to get around our limits or security checks, to overload our systems, or to test them for weaknesses without our permission. If you find a security problem, tell us at security@dazr.eu.
Ending
You can delete documents at any time, or delete your Dazr Identity account with all the documents you sent.
We may suspend or limit your access if you break these terms, if your use puts other people or our services at risk, or if the law requires it. Where we can, we tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem.
No warranty
We do our best to keep our services available and working well, but we provide them “as is”, without warranties beyond those the law requires, including EU consumer law. We do not promise that they will always be available or free of errors.
We are not responsible for whether a signature made with Dazr Sign meets the requirements of your particular document or transaction.
Liability
As far as the law allows, Dazr is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damage, or for lost profits or lost data, arising from your use of our services. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or anything else that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Privacy
How we handle personal data is described in the Dazr Sign privacy notice.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The current version is always on this page, with its date at the top. If you keep using the service after a change, the new terms apply; if you do not agree, stop using it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Italian law. Disputes are heard by the courts of Italy, except where mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you live give you the right to go to court there.
